LIGO Document G1600766-v2
- A seminar talk given at INPE in São José Dos Campos, Brazil on March 29, 2016. The talk first summarizes some of the work going on throughout the collaboration for cryogonic mirrors. It then focusses on the work going on at Stanford, which includes simulating how much noise we can expect scattered light to contribute to the interferometer, and the experimental cryo engineering work designed to mitigate this while still achieving a cold temperature.
Speaking notes are included in the powerpoint version, so see that for more details.
