10mHz performance of op-amps

Abstract:

Four different models of chopper-stabilised op-amps with low (less than 10nVrms/rt(Hz)) voltage noise were tested for both voltage and current noise down to approximately 10mHz. OPA188 and ADA4528 were found to have extremely good voltage noise performance, the OPA188 has some stability issues with high-Z inputs and its current noise is not yet characterised. ADA4528 shows ~7nVrms/rt(Hz) voltage noise with no visible corner to 10mHz, and ~0.5pA/rt(Hz) with a corner near 7mHz.
