Abstract:

aLIGO is prone to a wide range of noise sources and scattering of light is one among them. The objective of the project is to characterize the losses in all the optical cavities using a GigE camera. The intensity fluctuations observed on capturing a video using GigE camera can be correlated to the motion of test mass by developing a neural network.
