Howdy,

No extra charge for these extra countersinks. Thanks for your prompt response.//

That sounds fine. So long as it doesn’t change the price, feel free to add countersinks to the other sides of these holes.

Thanks,
Andy//

Subject: countersinks

Hello Andy,

I have a question regarding some countersinks on tapped holes. I am working on D080493-01, ( HAM HEPI CAGING REAR PLATE), and on the print I have it calls for a countersink, on the near side only, on a 1/2-13 tapped hole. I was wondering if it would be alright to add the same countersink on the opposite side. This would save having a sharp edge on a threaded hole that could cause injury to the person assembling these parts. There are actually a couple parts in this latest batch that are dimensioned this way. D080492-01 and D080494-01 also have similar holes. Please let me know how you folks would like to handle these countersinks.//]
