LIGO Document E1200158-x0
- Document tree for the ISC table near HAM1.
ISCT1 handles 5 laser beams that come out of HAM1:
1) A sample of the REFL beam. The full REFL beam is delivered from HAM2 into HAM1. Most of this REFL beam is dumped in HAM1 (90%). The remaining REFL beam is split 50/50 between an in-vacuum path that remains in HAM1, and a path that is brought out to ISCT1. During low noise operation of the interferometer, this ISCT1 beam is blocked in HAM1 by a in-vac beam diverter.
2) A sample of the POP beam. The full POP beam is delivered from HAM3 into HAM1. In HAM1 the beam is split with 10% going to the in-vac path in HAM1, and 90% going out to ISCT1. During low noise operation of the interferometer, this ISCT1 beam is blocked in HAM1 by a in-vac beam diverter.
3 & 4) Two green ALS beams, one from each arm cavity. These beams are delivered from HAM3 into HAM1, and in HAM1 both beams are directed out to ISCT1 (no attenuation).
5) PSL sample for ALS. A sample of the PSL beam (~1 W) is sent from the PSL/IO table into HAM1. In HAM1 the beam is sent directly out to ISCT1, using the same viewport and periscope as used for the green ALS beams. On ISCT1, this beam is frequency doubled (single-pass SHG) and heterodyned with one of the green ALS beams.
