Abstract:

This presentation describes the evaluation of the time dependence of duty cycles, horizon distance, and spacetime detection volumes as a function of the time of day and day of the week to assess whether any consistent patterns emerge.

Secondly, the presentation evaluates the interaction of individuals outside of the LSC with the LOSC S5 data set. The ease of such interactions and the difficulties encountered are described.

A probability of what time of day is LIGO most likely to make a first detection is suggested.
