LIGO Document G2102458-v1
- This webinar will present inferences about the population of merging compact binaries derived from LIGO and Virgo observations through the end of the third observing run. We will discuss the merger rate, and its dependence on binary masses and spins, and its change versus redshift. We will present properties of the full population of compact object mergers, and then separately consider the binary black hole population as well as the population of sources that contain neutron stars. A Q&A session will follow including experts in population modeling and astrophysical interpretation.
