Abstract:
A so-called Optical Follower Servo (OFS) is employed in the Advanced LIGO Photon Calibrator to reduce both sources of displacement noise that affect the calibration of the interferometer. This document outlines the efforts and methodology to design and implement the OFS within the Pcal subsystem.
