Abstract:

This document presents a comprehensive analysis of the detection capabilities of gravitational wave detector networks, incorporating LIGO detectors at design, A+, and A# sensitivities, and Virgo at design sensitivity. We evaluate the detection efficiency, detection rate, localization precision, and redshift reach across various detector network configurations--HLV-Design, HLI+, and HLI#--for the observation of binary neutron star (BNS), binary black hole (BBH), and neutron star-black hole (NSBH) mergers. These analyses emphasize the potential enhance in network performance enabled by the A# upgrade.
