Abstract:

Aluminium mass used in Glasgow for weld testing. Size and shape matched with aLIGO ETM/ITM(QUAD) PM (/optic, but no wedge.) Hole drilled thru centre to match mass (40kg). Recessed in the position of each flat, so material can be replaced with a composite plate (aluminium with cals insert and bonded ear.) called a DISC INSERT (D080686).
