- DC Power Supplies are mounted (generally) two-to-a-shelf in the DC Power Suppl Racks. There are therefore 3 or 4 cables that hang from each shelf, loosely arrayed and in need of strain relief. The shelves themselves do not have a mechanism for cable ties. These clips are designed to provide strain relief for these cables in these shelves.
