- The low-noise VCO used to drive the frequency shifting acousto-optic modulator does not provide enough RF power to obtain maximum diffraction efficiency from the Isomet 1205C-843. A Mini-Circuits ZHL-1-2W-N+ amplifier is used to boost the VCO output power.
