DCN, Custom Part Modifications Allowing Slip-Fit, aLIGO TCS SM1 Assembly

Abstract:

As a consequence of the initial fit check for custom machined production parts serving assembly D1101013, it has been determined that two parts require minor modification to allow a proper slip fit to the adjacent parts within this assembly.

The parts requiring modification are D1101294-v1 and D1101292-v1.
Details of the necessary modifications are described on the drawings associated with each of the parts.
