- Abstract:
- We develop a generic (method-independent) timing model for the F-statistic computation. We present and quantify method-specific timing and memory models for the Resampling-FFT method, as well as the (older) Demod method. The timing models are found to agree well with the measured CPU times with a standard deviation on the error of less than 10%.
